PROPERTY INSPECTIONS
An initial inspection of your home will be carried out in the first four to eight weeks of your tenancy, followed every four months after that. You will be notified by email or SMS at least 7 days prior to an inspection. You are not required to be at home for the inspection unless you wish to be. Please leave a note in a prominent position with anything you wish to bring to your property managers attention. Your property manager will leave a card in the property in acknowledgement of their inspection. We expect that your home, inside and out will be well maintained and presented in a clean and tidy manner. If the property manager is dissatisfied with the routine inspection, you will be advised to this effect and, if deemed necessary, another inspection will be undertaken.
CONDITION REPORT
Two copies of a comprehensive Property Condition Report will be provided once all monies have been paid and keys handed over to the property. You will be required to check the report thoroughly, making any amendments you feel are necessary prior to signing and dating one copy to be returned to Key Property Management, PO Box 150, Battery Point, Tas 7004 within 2 (two) working days. Should Key Property Management not receive your signed copy within the allotted time, the original copy held in our office will be the one used as a reference when undertaking the final inspection and to determine your bond refund at the termination of the lease.
